We found the beds to be quite comfy, and the room, while fairly basic, was tidy and equipped with nice toiletries-something I appreciate as a former food critic. The hotel's atmosphere was notably family-friendly, with a children's play area that my sons thoroughly enjoyed, allowing us a moment of peace. Dining was a highlight, despite the bustling restaurant vibe; attentive staff made the dining experience pleasant, complemented by a lovely musician adding charm post-meal. A handy coffee bar in the lobby was a definite plus. While prices are on the higher end, the dog-friendly amenities and prime location might justify the expense for many. For a family getaway that blends leisure with accessibility, Ocean Sands proves to be a solid choice, but do consider your budget wisely.
